Library Friends 50/50, Casino Night 

Help the Friends of the Alfred H. Baumann Library (FAB) raise funds for the library’s planned renovation and construction project. The plan is to bring residents a 21st Century facility that can be used by everyone in the community. FAB will be selling 50/50 tickets on March 9 at the Woodland Park Range, 1267 McBride Ave; March 10 at ShopRite in Little Falls, 171 Browertown Rd.; and on March 16 at Fairway Market, 1510 Route 46 West. Tickets are $5 each. The drawing will take place on March 21. Tickets are also on sale at the Library.


Additionally, FAB is planning a fundraising Casino Night on Thursday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at The Brownstone in Paterson. Tickets are $75 per person or $125 for “high rollers.” Tickets include a buffet, unlimited beer, wine and soda, games of chance, music and more. Tickets are available at the library, 7 Brophy Lane, or visit abwplibrary.org and to use PayPal to purchase tickets. If you or your business would like to sponsor a gaming table, contact Linda Hoffman at the library.


Charles Olbon HSA tricky tray

The Charles Olbon School Home & School Association is hosting a “Totally 80s” themed beefsteak and tricky tray on Thursday, March 28 at The Brownstone, 351 W. Broadway, Paterson, from 6 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $55 each and include dinner, dessert and one sheet of small raffle tickets. Checks can be made payable to COHSA. American Legion Dinner Dance

The Woodland Park American Legion Auxiliary Unit #238 will host a beefsteak dinner dance to mark the 100th anniversary of the American Legion and Auxiliary at the Russian Hall, 4 Woodhull Ave., Little Falls on Saturday, March 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person and include live music by Foggy Minded Boys, dinner, beer, soda, coffee, and dessert. Wine may be purchased. No BYOB – liquor is sold on the premises. Call 973-699-6270 for tickets.


American Legion Open House

Woodland Park American Legion Post 238 will mark the 100th Year anniversary of the American Legion with a community open house on Friday, March 15, from 6 p.m. to midnight, at the post, located at 410 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Woodland Park. Post 238 cordially invites you to celebrate with them on the 100th year anniversary of the American Legion with live music, catered food, 50/50 raffle, money tree, free t-shirts and more.
