Packanack Community Church to Sponsor Presentation on Runaway Inequality

The Packanack Community Church invites the entire community to attend a special presentation by author and activist, Les Leopold, as he discusses how income inequality impacts our communities and what we can do about it, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall, 120 Lake Drive East, Wayne.

In his book, Runaway Inequality: An Activist Guide to Economic Justice, the author calls upon us to build a common movement to tackle the sources of increasing income and wealth inequality. He makes clear, the problem will not cure itself; that it will take enormous energy and dedication to bring economic justice and fairness back to American society.

Leopold, the director of the Labor Institute in New York is collaborating with unions, worker centers and community organizations to build a national economics educational campaign. All proceeds from the sale of his latest book go to support this educational effort.

Hosted by the PCC Community Outreach Team, this event is free. Registration is suggested by going to eventbrite.com and the event, Runaway Inequality.
