Memorial Day Parade Participants Sought by Woodland Park Rec Department

The Borough is planning its annual Memorial Day parade, to honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives to preserve our freedom. The parade will he held on Monday, May 27 along McBride Avenue, starting at 11 a.m.
If you have an antique/classic vehicle that you would like to display in the parade, contact the Recreation Department at or 973-345-8100, ext. 213.
If you are a veteran and would like to walk or ride in the parade or a resident group/organization or a local business that would like to be involved in the event, contact or 973-345-8100, ext. 213.
Prior to the parade two ceremonies will be held at 9 a.m. at the firemen’s memorial ceremony at McBride Avenue and Memorial Drive, and 10 a.m. at the war memorial ceremony at McBride Avenue and Brophy Lane.
The parade will commence at Glover Avenue and McBride Avenue at 11 a.m. and proceed along McBride Avenue to Memorial Drive. In addition, a street fair will be held along McBride Avenue from Memorial Drive to Lackawanna Avenue from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
