Art at the Esplanadee

MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ, April 1, 2022—Art at the Esplanade, Mountain Lakes’ annual juried arts and crafts show, will return to town on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 from 11 am to 5 pm at 11 Elm Road in Mountain Lakes. Visitors can stroll through the tree-lined heart of the borough, where more than 60 emerging and established artists will feature original paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture and more. All art is available for sale. “The first two shows were enormously successful and we are thrilled to bring the artists back this year. We believe our show melds the spirit of our community with its love for the arts," says co-founder Amy Thompson-Hill. She and co-founder Julie Naegelen, both artists and residents of Mountain Lakes, agree that the borough's natural beauty and distinctive architecture are the perfect complement to the open-air art show. Art at the Esplanade will also feature children’s art activities coordinated by the Mountain Lakes Library. Visitors will have the chance to sample signature ice cream treats from Scoop House of Boonton. Live music will fill the air, this time from local musician, Rick Winow. Once again, the event has attracted the generous sponsorship of the Roberts Fund of the Mountain Lakes Library, whose goal is to encourage a culture of art appreciation throughout the community.
